Our 'Volante' Swing Gate installed at a Domestic Property

Our client wanted a contemporary, modern looking gate to match the aesthetic and colourings of their new property. They also wanted a matching fence and pedestrian gate to suit.

Once we had completed the fabrication and had them powder coated to match the colour specifications, the next step was installation.

The client had mentioned that they were to have the drive tarmacked which worked in our favour as it is a much cleaner install. With any installation, we want to ensure minimal disruption to our clients and their surrounding grounds, so we take great care at this stage.

We installed two posts, ran the wiring for two safety sensors between and outside the posts and input the motor box which controls the automation of the gate.

In order to ensure easily, controllable access to the property, we installed a GSM intercom and a fob system.

We then got to work installing the fencing surrounding the property and a pedestrian gate, to allow easy access by foot.

At Secure2, we can create mostly any gate design our client’s desire. Firstly, we went to site to assess the grounds, potential size of the gate, RAL colour to match the property and confirm the design specifications with the client.

All happy, we proceeded with drawing up the gate design and ordering parts, including a GSM intercom.

The client was very pleased with our work and their new automated gate and fencing.

As part of our handover process, all our clients receive a handover pack which details the installation, hazards of automated gates, instructions on manual operations, how to operate the gates, declaration of conformity and CA mark, risk assessment of gate and force readings. This gives our clients all the required information they need to safely manage their gates. We also recommend annual servicing of domestic gates to ensure the gate is running smoothly and safely at your property.
